Meet Dr. Strada
Elizabeth Strada, M.D., is a double board certified General Adult and Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist. She completed a Bachelor's in Science from Georgetown University, and received her M.D. from Creighton University School of Medicine. She completed her Psychiatry Residency and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at Loma Linda University Medical Center.
Dr. Strada approaches medication management through a biological, psychosocial and spiritual lens, guided by a developmentally informed foundation. She aims to work with both parents and children in a holistic approach to provide the least invasive means of treatment. She views Child and Adolescent Psychiatry as a means of preventative medicine, an avenue of creating brighter futures for youths and their families.

Dr. Strada's multifaceted approach emphasizes early establishment of clear and comfortable connection with both you and your child. This ensures that treatment proceeds with a foundation of mutual agreement and trust. Dr. Strada works to create a validating and supportive environment, utilizing the latest up to date practices.
Dr. Strada takes the time to thoroughly explore your child’s development, environmental influences and stressors to create a well rounded plan to help your child and family bloom. She will explore family dynamics, provide individualized recommendations for additional therapeutic services, lifestyle modifications and engage family and children in the treatment plan. Dr. Strada will act as the team leader for all of the services that your child may also be engaged in and is happy to consult with other members of their treatment team (pediatrician, occupational therapist, psychotherapist, educational therapist, etc.)

Work Experience
Prior to starting Life in Bloom Psychiatry in 2025, Dr. Strada worked for several different levels of care, including providing coverage for an Intensive Outpatient program (IOP), an all boys Residential Treatment Center (RTC) for two years, and as an outpatient Adult, Child and Adolescent psychiatrist for Kaiser Permanente and in a private practice called The Moment.
In her free time, Dr. Strada enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. She enjoys exercising, singing and being outdoors.
